I like Jason Isbell and Drive By Truckers, too I have several DBT cd's.

everyone else is a major step below. And yeah, I realize Garth doesn't fit in with the first two, but he had a crapton of good country songs. Plus, he put on one HELL of a stage show in concert. The guy has "entertainer" in his blood.

Dylan does have a nasaly voice. What does that have to do with anything?

^^I think it has a lot to do with the people who Revere Bob and the rest of us who respect him and like him but Don't think he's the greatest singer. That's not a criticism TT, just a fact. Despite that when Dylan sings some of his best songs, I can't picture anyone else doing them nearly as well. I like Bob, but am not a rabid fan.

I do however have all of the Drive By Truckers albums, so I might check out Jason Isbell.

She sounds funny to me, like she is singing through her nose or something. Alot of country and folk singers do that, and that completely turns me off.
