Because I haven't seen this one mentioned in this thread as of yet...

...Rockin' Robert's Live Bullet is one of the greatest live albums of all time! Blues, funk and soul = rock and roll and this album has 'em all!
Thanks in no small part to the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section Bob employed for that tour. But, yeah, I agree... a must buy. :cheers2

One of the most perfect examples of glam rock:

Electric_warrior_album.jpg

Electric Warrior by T. Rex released in 1971

I'm in a T. Rex phase right now. Tanx has become my "favorite". Tunes like "Rapids", "Country Honey", "Left Hand Luke", "Tenement Lady", "Mad Donna" and "Born to Boogie" kick you in the nuts and have you come back for more. Marc Bolan was truly ahead of his time and is one of the most underrated Guitarist of All-Time.

The Slider is a great one as well. But good call on T. Rex.

To add more "meat" to the Thread.

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - David Bowie
Aladdin Sane - David Bowie
Diamond Dogs - David Bowie
Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player - Elton John
Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy - Elton John
Billion Dollar Babies - Alice Cooper
Sheer Heart Attack - Queen
How The West Was Won - Led Zeppelin
Quadrophenia - The Who
Wings Over America - Paul McCartney & Wings
Band On The Run - Paul McCartney & Wings
Candy-O - The Cars
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs - Derek & The Dominoes
Strange Days - The Doors
A New World Record - ELO
Out Of The Blue - ELO
The Slider - T. Rex
Leaving Columbus - Little Feat
Some Girls - Rolling Stones
Fly By Night - Rush

There isn't a "crappy one" on this list. Each one of these could be listed "before all of the others" and many arguments supporting each one.
