^^Any reason in particular they won't reunite? I am surprised Carl is still touring, but good on 'im.![]()
^ Carl Palmer has said that if High Voltage had been a success, they would have continued. The problem is, they did not rehearse enough and did not give the reunion time to develop. Presumably, there was a deeper reason, like a continued clash between Emerson and Lake. A strong manager or producer may have been able to pull them together, but you cannot teach old dogs new tricks. Argent also reformed for High Voltage and did not continue, but they did not fall out to my knowledge. A continuation of Argent would've been good too.
^ Unlike Asia, even though they weren't as good as the parent bands.
. Anyway, it got me curious about their debut album. The only ELP songs I've heard so far (that I remember at least) are Lucky Man and Karn Evil 9 or whatever. And I prefer Lucky Man by a lot. Tried listening to the debut album on Grooveshark but it is difficult to listen to it at a low volume at work. Maybe I should download it and blast the CD in the car! I'm leaning towards the debut album rather than Brain Salad Surgery (which seems most popular).
