Duff McKagen hinting at a GnR Reunion

Duff McKagan is currently hinting at a reunion with Guns N’ Roses during their upcoming South American tour.​

Duff McKagan took to his Twitter page earlier today in a manner that suggested he would be returning to Guns N’ Roses. McKagan uploaded an image revealing two setlists comprised of songs the former Guns N’ Roses bassist originally performed on, as well as tracks from the group’s 2008 studio album ‘Chinese Democracy’ following his departure.​

The announcement comes alongside news that current Guns N’ Roses bassist Tommy Stinson would be reuniting with his former band, the Replacements, for two high-profile performances at Coachella in April and reportedly won’t be available for Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming South American tour.​

Based upon the order of countries provided by McKagan, he is expected to join Guns N’ Roses during their upcoming concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina on April 6th, then play Asuncion, Paraguay (April 9th), La Paz, Bolivia (April 12th) and two cities in Brazil — Recife (April 15th) and Fortaleza (April 15th).​

Should this announcement become accurate, it wouldn’t be the first time since Duff McKagan left his former band in 1997 that he joined forces with them once again. McKagan performed onstage with Guns N’ Roses for the first time in seventeen years at a 2010 concert in London, and again at a 2011 show in Canada.​
