Really can't believe there is no thread for anything Doro related. One of my favourite female vocalists whether it be with Warlock or her solo career. Just put out an album this year and I love it. People bitched about the cheesiness of one of the new video clips but honestly the music should be all that matters to fans. Love Doro's work.

Our guitarist is a Massive Doro fan !! His highlight, meeting and interviewing her . A lovely lady with a great voice thats for sure .
We have rehearsed the Doro song "Love me in black"....but never done it justice. I myself just own one WARLOCK album "Hellbound"....not played it in years,so I will dig it out and give it a spin Riff

Those WARLOCK albums from the 1980s are pretty good albums especially BURNING THE WITCHES, HELLBOUND & TRIUMPH OF STEEL although the 3rd one which i can't recall the name of is a bit to slick and ballady.

I havan't heard any of those albums for maybe 15 years but i remember liking them especially HELLBOUND that muthaf**ker ROCKS!!!!!!!!.

The ballads are actually the stuff I favour the most.

Come on Riff you gotta be having a laugh???. :oyea:

METAL rules!!!!!!.

Nope I like the ballads as much as the harder edge material. Heavier does not always mean better to me, not anymore.
To be honest I couldn't be happier about listening to more and more ballady type songs, I like variety, not just heavy stuff.

Fair comment Riffer if you like something theres nothing wrong with that.

WARLOCK with Doro were a good German metal band most of there albums from the 1980s & 90s are a very good listen.

Don't get me wrong though, I like all of the stuff I hear from Doro and Warlock, the heavy stuff kicks arse, but I like Doro's vocals in some of the ballady nature songs, I think she has just that great voice for any tone of metal. lol
