Lots dislike the disco scene... I can only surmise that movies like Grease and the 'treacle' that supplied, harmed good soul sound. ... I was always into the Northern stuff and Stax.... that was a gateway to that 54 sound... (for me anyway)
Lots of strings as in the Philly sound.... I wasn't so fond of. Born To Be Alive by Patrick Hernandez is a killer track.

There was alot of sugary tunes that came out. It was fun going out dancing to the clubs during that time.. Angel Flights.. Platform shoes and all.. Was I there??? NOPE!! Home listening to Judas Priest and Ted Nugent.
Sexual Revolution.. Drugs.. SEX.. Good times.. I missed out but sorta know that it was a Fad..
