So we say goodbye to one of the best rock keyboard players ever, certainly my favourite. Here's a tune to remember him by.

"Pictures Of Home"

R.I.P. Jon. :cheers2

I love the keyboard solo in Demon's Eye. A pearler from Jon. :grinthumb

Continuing the tribute with Machine Head. :)
It has been ages since I heard this album.

It's almost ironic, a few days ago I was looking at some Purple albums in the record store, they have released some of the earliest classics on new 180 gram vinyl, I already have a copy of Machine Head and it's brilliant.

I even thought about Jon's health and battle with cancer when I was holding the albums in my hands.

Even though it is tragic to lose Jon, at least he did live a decent long life of 71 years and was still active in music which was his passion.

I might pick this one up on vinyl next time I'm in the city.

The Book of Taliesyn.

I was listening to the "Concerto for Group and Orchestra" album yesterday after hearing about Jon. It's still one of my favorite things Deep Purple has ever done.
