Blood is thicker than water...I'm sure Eddie will torpedo anything concerning Anthony coming back if it means his son is on the outside looking in.

I agree with Dave about Michael and his value to the classic VH sound but to say this now he might have ended VH for good.

I have no problem with Slammin' Sammy having a free shot here, this involves a member of Chickenfoot and Dave started it.

Eddie is as erratic as the day is long, I get the feeling they are done as a recording and touring band now and from the sound of things Dave feels that way too. Call it a 'gut feeling' if you like.

The one time Sammy should take a free shot is when he probably won't. :heheh:

Last I heard, Sammy is working on a new album with his normal backup band, the Waborritos (or whatever they are called). I think Chickenfoot is on hiatus right now.

The entire quote here is spot on. Anthony's bass playing can be done by almost anyone, but his voice was his real instrument in the band and is sorely missed IMHO.

I've said this a zillion times myself.

I'm more worried that this will backfire and will bring an attitude to Eddie....you know....

OK Michael AND Sammy back in... :&

They're fools if they do. He's a disruptive force.

They need to get someone experience in that genre.

(we all remember the VH III/dude from Extreme experiment)

They need a calming force.that isn't vidictive or trivial.

That's right, they need Axl.

This band should have their own reality TV series for all the self-publicising and bitching that goes on, they are never out of the news, almost NEVER for the music they produce, and almost ALWAYS for what they have to say about themselves. When the personalities and conflicts and interviews get all the headlines, and almost nobody mentions the music anymore, then all it is, is celebrity culture BS, and has nothing to do with rock n roll.
