I am glad you and many others I know dig this CD more than I do. lol
I am just a bigger fan of their early material.

Yeah it's all good man 
I think Ill give the new album a second chance, don't usually do that but with COF I really want to try to see why people love it so much.
I have only just heard the album Nymphetamine now and so far impressed by it.

Yeah I don't know...I like the new CD a lot. Sounds like a COF album to me.

That's fair.....I'm soo huge on production and I think they sound a LOT more epic now. But in the end, I like all of their stuff, so I can't REALLY argue your point Riff.
The first album The Principle of Evil Made Flesh is still highly enjoyable to listen to.

A Crescendo of Passion Bleeding is also a great tune. This is the good more black metallish sound of the band.

They've just rereleased their "Total ****ing Darkness" demo with some bonus stuff on it - and of course remastered.
Apart from the old demos, I have everything the band has released (studio albums, EPs, DVDs etc), so I'll definitely have to get a copy of this. I just wish they would have kept the old artwork. It wouldn't have felt a bit more unique that way imo.
This remastered new version (engineered in Turan Studio in Oxford) includes as bonus the song "Spattered in Faeces", the only surviving track from the Goetia sessions, the unreleased track "Devil Mayfair (Advocatus Diaboli)", recorded at Samhain 1992, plus other three tracks from that session, along with two short instrumental pieces from the band's former keyboardist, Ben Ryan. New cover artwork features paintings of Daniel P. Carter
