Everyone loves the Cover one for that, though hearing the original helps with hearing the lyrics a bit clearer.

'Needles and Pins' -The Searchers (1964) theirs was the biggest early version and the one I knew on 45 rpm....(originally recorded by Jackie Deshannon in 1963) then Smokie in 1977.
