I never knew that Bad Co's version was a cover until I found All the Young Dudes in a pile of records someone gave me. I never liked Bad Co's version anyway.

Mott's is better because of After lights attached to the end of it.

As much as I like Mott I prefer Bad Co's version better.

I remember reading that Mick Ralphs originally wrote "Can't Get Enough" for Mott The Hoople though he nor Ian Hunter had the vocal range to carry it.

Though I really liked Mick's guitar playing I never really cared for his voice.

I loved Bad Company's version when I heard it, and back when that was all that I knew. But when I heard Mott the Hoople's version, oh, my mind was freaking blown. It's now my preference, without a doubt (and my inspiration, aside from the gentle suggestion of my dear sister's expertise, to pick up a few of their LPs).

You have learned well young grasshopper. :flirt

I like Mott's better as well because it's a two for one with "After Lights".

Bad Company's version is the first version I knew and loved. I didn't know Mott did it, till years later.

Both versions are cool...but Bad Co's version is much cooler.
