Not to drag this out any longer or anything....but after 49 singers I'd like to ask all of you who have been following along with this over the past few months a question: Who do you think the 50th singer could or should be?

Luciano Pavarotti

Here we are 49 singers later and Pavarotti rounds out my list of the the greatest singers of all time. Opera is not exactly something that crosses over into the mainstream all that often but Pavarotti managed to pull it off bases solely on the power of his gorgeous, tenor voice and is very likely the most famous opera singer of all time. For 45 years Luciano made sensational use of his bright tone and abundant vibrato and I honestly can't think of anyone more fitting to close this thread with. Just looking at his face when he performed it was obvious that Pavarotti loved music and cherished what he did since he often time looked like he was on the verge of tears when he sang.

"Nessun Dorma" (Live)

And with the inclusion of Lucciano Pavarotti we have reached the end of my list of who I feel at the 50 greatest singers of all time. Hope you all enjoyed the ride.

I saw the list (fantastic list btw), and honestly, first thing that came to mind, they should be linked. So......heh, my OCD got the best of me :p

Wow...that's impressive. Thanks Primey, I'm going to add that to the first post. :grinthumb

Klaus Meine and has not appeared. Offensively. :wa

I like Klaus and as unique as his voice is he just didn't manage to make my top 50. I think he probably would have made the top 60 though if that makes you feel better. :D
