I'm sure that somewhere in a box in the basement or in the garage, I still have numerous homemade VHS tapes of songs/vids off of MTV, including numerous episodes of Headbanger's Ball.
I would LOVE to have some stuff fropm MTV recoreded in analog from the first day!!!!!!!!

I have tapes from when I recorded shows like Liquid TV, The State, Real World. Those were from the early 1990’s but I do have tapes from the late 80’s of a Paul McCartney video weekend on VH1.

MTV was a great initial concept that died due to its incessant tinkering.

Would love to see your catalog on YT, but I am guessing you are concerned with the TM and copyright issues.

I grew up in Canada, and I've got hours and hours and hours of stuff I recorded from MuchMusic. Just hundreds of individual videos, interviews, music specials and concerts. I wish someone could see it before I die, but I have no experience preparing to post on the web video for which I don't own the copyright. I'll bet a lot of you folks would like it a great deal. I have video from the day "Weird" Al Yankovic took over the station and turned it into Al Music. 1st generation, recorded at SP, and in Hi-Fi. I've got a basically unused VCR for this purpose, but I don't have a video capture card or know much about the hardware and software that creates it.
