The Grammys could easily do an hour or more of obituaries every year if that's what people really want to turn the show into. Well known musicians die every year, lots of 'em, and just as importantly even more relatively unknown but just as hard working artists who work their butts off gigging for years and years, but who simply don't ever get a break, and so they don't make it, but sadly hardly nobody acknowledges their passing at all. So where is their Grammys tribute, or do we really only care about the rich and famous dying? What's the criteria for earning a TV/Grammys tribute? ... and where do you draw the line? Not a word was said at the Grammys about Amy Winehouse dying, who if she's lived and had sorted out her addictive life style, was talented enough to maybe eventually sell as many records even as Whitney did.
