^That is true. I listened to them more close together than you have done. I'm sure throughout more listens with time, i'll notice some different aspects than I do right now with the albums.

Speaking of Alexisonfire though I wouldn't mind if Dallas did another C & C styled cover of that material. "Happiness By The Kilowatt" is my all time favorite of his and "Boiled Frogs" was great as well!

Oh man, hearing the name Boiled Frogs just brings back memories. First time I heard it was back in either middle school, or high school. can't remember which, but I remember having it as my profile song on myspace for the longest time.

I believe I did. I was also looking up my other favorite of alex's, which is Rough Hands, and I glanced at the acoustic version of Boiled Frogs. So I added it to my youtube queue to listen to it.

I've grown to strengthen my opinion about Dallas Green that everything he creates in the music world is gold, both with City & Colour and Alexisonfire. I've given both bands a very good listen and they wouldn't be what they are today if Dallas Green wasn't involved, Alexisonfire more than C&C though, because Alexisonfire has more members involved as far as i'm aware. Dallas Green is a genius when it comes to lyrical structure and musical ability.

agreed! i really don't think he could ever make anything bad haha... even if there were no instruments and it was just his voice it would be beautiful!


so i was just listening to this song-

and it gave me chills... i don't know what it is, it's the same kind of chills i get when i listen to some Neil Young songs. it's got some kind of a melancholy/gloomy sound to it. i don't know lol. but it's great, it's great.
