Child In Time vs. Achilles Last Stand

This is exactly why I voted for Achilles Last Stand in this case and vote against Child In Time most every time it shows up in a poll. You just summed up the entire song in a handful of typed letters. It's starts off with not a whole lot of idea and goes nowhere with it. If it wasn't for the musical dynamics, I'd think my record/tape/CD was stuck...just endlessly repeating. Granted, Achilles Last Stand is overlong and meanders, but it's got different parts and alot more energy than Child In Time.

Almost impossible to vote - both blistering tracks! But Gillan's outstanding vocals just pip Plant's for me here, so going with Child In Time.

Everyone has their favorites from any given artist, and the ranking drifts around some, but this song never leaves my top 5 Zep cuts.
