AWESOME!! Heard a little pitch harmonics in there.. Now am I correct in saying he already recorded that same song and then played along with the recording?? Anybody else get that??

Yeah sounds like it Slip. He plays drums too so wouldn't be surprised if he made a backing tape to play along to with him on all the other instruments!
