Always thought that Cheap Trick didn't get the respect they should have. They had a great run, and their merge of Pop and Metal was a hell of a lot of fun!

For anyone else in the greater Los Angeles area, Cheap Trick will be playing a free concert during the Long Beach Grand Prix weekend after the American Le Mans Series race Saturday afternoon.

Cheap Trick Thinking About New Album

It might have only been a year or so since the release their last album, The Latest, but Cheap Trick are already thinking about the next one.
“We were just in Los Angeles and came up with 10 ideas that we’re working on that are very strong contenders [with producer Julien Raymond],” bassist Tom Petersson told Billboard.com. “That’s how it works now. We just do it as it happens, when opportunities come up, just putting together ideas. And once you get 10 or 12 strong things it’s like, ‘Wow, we have the record!’.”
The band have just finished performing their Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band show in Las Vegas and have plans to do more of the same later in the year. But this is unlikely to lead to a tour of their interpretation of the famed Beatles album.

Here's our boys NOW this year...still kicking butt and not losing a step.
