I'm not a huge fan of "traditional" blues though I do enjoy good blues-rock.

Carson is from Australia and released two albums, Blown from 1972 and On The Air, a live album from 1973. Both albums were compiled on a CD reissue from Germany.

Pretty good music, Joe. This band was very short lived, makes me wonder why. I hear some Canned Heat and ZZ Top style boogie in their music.....

Capek (Carson keyboardist) and Lawrie (Carson guitarist) got together with some members of Genesis and made a one time group recording. They called themselves "The Meating". The two singles they recorded were called 'Bad Luck Feeling' and 'Back Home' and was released on Rebel music label in August of 1970. This A/B side single is very obscure and hard to find.

John Capek is most noted for all his song writing for Rod Stewart.

He wrote this song for Stewart:

^^^That I didn't know. Kinda of a 'funny' colaboration with members of Genesis and Carson. I'll check it out.
