    Recently watching the band's outstanding performance at the legendary Woodstock festival.Jauntingy gleeful blues.....

    Canned Heat is unfortunately, one of the many bands defined only one or two songs. They did a lot of really good stuff that most people have never heard.

    I agree, Speedy.

    True story........at a party recently, I played the debut album. Everyone was boppin around and having a good time. I was asked "what & who" that album was. Most of the people at the party were close to my age and had never heard of Canned Heat........unless they had a sterno stove....:heheh:


    It makes me happy when I can expand people's music listening with something old......but awesome.

    Love Canned Heat.
    They were a highlight at Woodstock IMO.
    And Let's Work Together while not typical of most of their stuff is a cool song even today.
    A lot of people never made the connection.
