^^You are all youngsters to me...:D

That is a serious operation like Tony said, no point in rushing back the fans will still be there to welcome Budgie back when he is 100% recovered.

Re: Budgie

I will be there with bells on, I agree Nololob they are expensive but they are worth it and if you buy from their website they are more expensive so it is better to buy from amazon to keep the cost down.

Re: Budgie

Got my copy of "Impeckable" and it sounds so go, it has some classic riffs and also reminds me of the "head first" album by Uriah Heep.

Re: Budgie

I had no favourite Budgie album until now. Squawk is damn heavy 'n' brilliant! IMO better than "Never Turn Your Back On A Friend"!

I will surely learn to play Bottled on bass!

Re: Budgie

Wow, I've never been into Budgie so much before. Such a brilliant band.

Re: Budgie

Thanks for posting LG! I wouldn't know where to get the full album with the artwork. It's not quite in my "Budgie." haha I listened to Breadfan and i really like that riff they play throughout the song. This is definately a band i could get into. Like you said, it reminds me some of early sabbath or even a little (little) GFR. Thanks for the thread!
P.s. i thought the lead singer was a woman until about thirty seconds in.

^^The singer for Budgie is one of those you either like or not, very few people on the fence with this old band, of course I like him.:D

Re: Budgie

His voice didn't sit right with me at first. It was like he was singing on top of the music instead of WITH the music. I listened to squawk and i guess it sunk in because i really love the band. I like their heavier stuff better than their slower, softer songs.
