Amazing band. Saw them when they released the last album. Brilliant show, in a room at the end of a pier in Southsea.

Panzer Division Destroyed, Lies of Jim [The E Type Lover] and Sky High Percentage are favourite tracks.

Shame the albums are expensive and hard too find other than the internet. Under-rated band.

Budgie kicks ass. A friend gave me a live album and I have been digging them ever since.

Re: Budgie

Fingers crossed all will be well with Burke in the fullness of time, a quick tune.

Love it.:grinthumb

I wanted to post that, you made it first. The riff is amazing, good song to headbang to. :hb:

Budgie back on the road with a new album soon?

Just found on their website a recent update from 10th April.

The band will back on the road sometime this year hopefully with a new album. Until then keep on rockin'.

Also they are re-releasing IF SWALLOWED DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING EP, with signed copies before 30th April.

That'd be great!

Hopefully they'll play some more shows. Though it's important that Burke has had enough rest after his Anureusm [spelling?]. Tempted by the EP, got 2 of my favourite tracks on it, Panzer Division Destroyed and Lies of Jim [The E Type Lover].

Re: Budgie back on the road with a new album soon?

They play regularly in UK and Eastern Europe, so there should be a chance to catch them live.

I don't think Tony Bourge will be involved since he retired from the music business in 1988.
