Brian Hibbard, Flying Pickets singer, dies

Actor and ex-Flying Pickets singer Brian Hibbard has died of prostate cancer, aged 65. The Flying Pickets had a hit in 1983 with Only You, an accappella arrangement, which remained at number one for five weeks. Those were the days! Brian appeared as a regular in the Making Out TV series, as well as a number of British soaps including The Bill, Eastenders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street (as Doug Murray 1992-1993).
