Bret Michaels might be wowing the crowds on his current tour, but come 2011, the singer will have to settle down. That’s because right after the new year, Bret needs to undergo major surgery to fix a hole in his heart. His rep told Radar Online that while Michaels isn’t 100 percent right now, “he’s in good spirits” and “he’s having fun on the road.” After the surgery, the Poison singer will take some time off. ^^That seems backwards to me 70's G,,,he should get the surgery as quickly as possible get back into fit condition and then tour. He could have another collapse that might be fatal this time instead of just life threatening like earlier this year.

If he has a hole in his heart, it must be congenital (meaning he was born with it), and has probably known about this for a while. In light of his recent health scare, he needs to have it fixed, ASAP.

I am like LG, I would deal with my health first, fans and career 2nd.

Even though the guy obviously can't control the fact he needs heart surgery, I am sick and tired of seeing both Bret Michaels and Steven Tyler "in the news" constantly, especially when neither of them has recorded anything over the past ten years (or more) that warrants coverage.
