Pyromania to me will always be DL finest album...as far as being "metal",,,I've just always thought of them as a hard rock band and never considered them as NWOBHM.

I like Def Leppard. even some of their softer material is decent, but when I want a fix I always reach for Pyromania first.:D

You're not alone. :grinthumb

For me though? It would be a few like Answer To The Master,It Could Be You, Overture,Wasted ect.

Mixed among other songs that were indeed hard rock.

I'm surprised Joe Elliott is willing to be seen in the same studio with Bret Michaels with all the times he has dogged other bands from the 80's not named Def Leppard.

I think it's different to have dogged artists/bands with whiney lead singers that seem to constantly make the news with their "you should do this... " ~message~ that they seem to constantly spout. Think about it. Look at the guys he's really dogged... Michael Stipe, Bono, Morrissey and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. All of them are front men that tell the public how we should live our lives, and tell us what we should and shouldn't do.

At first I didn't see it, and even though his recent comments weren't directed at these front men spouting off to the public (in concert or otherwise), all of them DO have that in common.

Back on topic, this might be interesting. Glad to see Michaels stretching out a bit with his next album. I'm sure I'll be checking it out.

I do hope he mentions something about this tomorrow night... I am going to see him perform tomorrow night. But that is GREAT news! I am a fan of Def Leppard and Skynrd and I think that will be a good mix for him since he is rock/country

Last year I went to see Skynyrd,38 Special and Bret Michaels. My brother and I made a beer run during Bret's set. I like a lot of hair bands but Poison is just one I could never get into.
