Love both songs so it's very hard to choose. Southern Cross has been overplayed on classic rock radio, so I think it's Brandy

I chose the one hit wonders. Brandy remains a fine girl.

For the other song, it's a good one by CSN standards but I have long preferred Y to CSN.

I've long wondered if the narrator of Brandy thinks she'd be a good wife because he wants someone to serve him drinks and food, give good lovin' and little else. I have a sneaking suspicion Brandy is better off dreaming of the one who got away.

An indication of how '60s counter-culture fashion became absorbed into the mainstream in the '70s is that Looking Glass had an AM pop hit while they looked like long-haired hippies.
