I first heard them mentioned when I was in England around the late seventies. I went into a record store in Southampton, listened to some songs of Moroccan Roll and bought it. Loved it ever since. Great all round musicianship and composing.

They had 6 old Brand X albums in the second hand shop I visited this morning...but I didn't pick one up.

I'll see if they have either Unorthodox Behavior or Moroccan Roll next time I'm there.

^ wow forgot about that album. One of my friends had it back in the 70's.

I saw Brand X in December 1975 with Sassafras. It must've been one of their earliest shows. I think I saw them again, but cannot remember when or with whom. I would love to have seen Mahavishnu.

Saw McLaughlin a bunch of times but not Mahavishnu. Would have loved that.
