Definitely Backstreet Boys!
Back when they were new I liked N'Sync and BSB seemed too old school for me. Now that's exactly what makes me like BSB the most. They had a more dignified, soulful (in the genre sense) sound with a heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies. A lot like my all-time favorite boy band, The Warblers!
If there were more acts like The Warblers and The Backstreet Boys in modern pop, 99.99999999999999999% of my pop collection wouldn't strictly be female artists. I mean, sure Bruno Mars is a genius, but give him a bunch of choir singers backing him and THEN I'll give him a listen!

I prefer when they're bagging on Danzig or MGMT. BSB is too easy a target for such expert social commentators!
