The Beasties for me! :grinthumb Just feels like it did more for their genre than Bruce did for his! I think Born In The USA did more for Bruce himself than pushing music in certain direction if that makes sense! :grinthumb

Hardly Bruce's strongest album IMO, but the only License to Ill song I like is "You Gotta Fight For Your Right to Party", which hardly qualifies it for my vote.

I love both...own both...but I'm gonna give it to Born In The U. S. A.

Just on the strength of No Surrender alone....that album gets me all weepy...dunno why :wa: :confused: :heheh:

In my opinion, this is EASILY the best album Bruce ever did.

License to Ill is incredible for the genre, in fact, it's sometimes noted as being genre-defining. One of the best albums from the "golden age of hip hop" with a lot of good tunes on it.

Like both albums, but I'm giving my vote to the Beasties for originality, innovation and downright pleasurable sampling of some great classic rock tunes as well as old school funk.

Because the album is about saying goodbye to a lot of things - and hello to new things as well :heybaby:
