Bon Jovi has announced a 2013 world wide tour in support of their upcoming new album. Because We Can — the Tour will begin in Canada, before scheduled but not yet revealed dates take the group through the U.S., Latin America, Europe, the Far East, Africa and Australia. Six Canadian dates were announced on Thursday morning.

According to BonJovi.com, presale for the Feb. 17, 2013 date in Toronto begins Friday morning at 10AM ET. The five remaining shows on the schedule will begin their pre-sale at 10AM local venue time on Oct. 27.

While U.S. dates haven’t been announced yet, the hole between Canadian dates makes it reasonable to assume the rockers will be playing the states in March. Logistically that would make more sense then shuttling to Europe or Africa for 35 days before returning to play Alberta on April 2, 2013.

According to a press release, the new tour will include familiar hits and new songs from the upcoming ‘What About Now’ album, set for a spring 2013 release. In total the band has played over 2,700 concerts in 50 countries for more than 35 million fans since debuting out of New Jersey in 1983.

Bon Jovi’s Canadian Because We Can — the Tour Dates:

2/13 – Montreal, Que.
2/17 – Toronto, Ont.
2/20 – Ottawa, Ont.
4/02 – Calgary, Alb.
4/03 – Edmonton, Alb.
4/05 – Winnipeg, Man.
