Sweet! I just picture this song playing at wedding receptions and family gatherings for ages! :grinthumb

I'm picturing the drunk people that ended up on America's Funniest Home Videos while dancing to this song at those receptions and gatherings:rolleyes::heheh:

Beautiful Looser is a great album, Katmandu is my favourite track.

Great song! I dare say that the following song is his most widely liked and is likely to outlast the others in longevity! Just a fun song that appeals to all generations!:

Old Time Rock N' Roll

I used to have that on vinyl Sox, but not anymore. It was an album that deserved more attention than it received when it was released, but thankfully Live Bullet included many songs from his early records like Dave78 mentioned.

LG, I just listened to the Stranger in Town album tonight after being inspired by MPs latest poll to check out the full album that had We've Got Tonight! I only own the first Greatest Hits but I was impressed with this album. The tracks I heard for the first time that I liked best were:

Bob Seger-Stranger In Town

Brave Strangers
(very soulful almost like a Bob Seger Gospel Sermon)

The Famous Final Scene
(another great ballad)

Re: Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

I bought that one on vinyl when it came out Sooty, I thought it was a good album myself. But I have to add that Bob started to mellow out a lot at this point in his career, his early albums are mostly hard rockin' songs, with the odd ballad thrown in but from this point on in his recording career he adopted a softer sound.

Still nice to see you catching up on all these old dinosaurs.:D
