Rick Rubin did a decent job of production on the album too. Was as good as his work on the new ZZ Top album.

Same as others, just listened to the album and my first impression... to me it's a bit like they listened to their back catalogue a lot while recording. Re-edition of Planet Caravan, sampling the rainy intro of Black Sabbath and at times trying to re-record that song. I was iffy about Brad Wilk and still am, I dare to say he is the wrong drummer. Drum-wise it didn't feel like old Sabbath at all.

Not really keen on buying the album, would rather spend on Deep Purple one which I think surprised me more than 13.

I will pick this up soon, I am sure they will sound good when I see them in December, they have not let me down before...

^^I hope you are right Sweaty, but from the sound of Ozzy's voice in Australia...it could be a let down. And that's early days on the tour so it's not like he's going to improve.

He has been on the sauce and drugs again, I hope he improves, I have seen hthem a few times and they were brilliant, including last year. I hope he improves for the sake of all the others that have paid a fortune to see them play.

^^You think he's still partying Sweaty??

If he doesn't get straight soon there's going to be a divorce from Sharon most likely and that is going to cost Ozzy millions.

^^You know Sweaty after seeing excerpts from his reality show Ozzy was already showing signs of years of abuse. He was barely functional...unless it was all an act just to sell tickets to the train wreck that reality show was every week.

I really do hope he kicks the habit again before it's too late. I wonder why he caved in now, when Sabbath is firing up again for one last world tour and a new album you'd think that would be enough in it's own right to get him excited and be at his very best.

Ozzy's vocals stop this album being fantastic in my eyes. Musically it is a great album but the vocals sound like shit just like on his last two piss poor Solo albums.
