I just got used to using an Ipod as it is easy and loads of space so when I am on the move I can listen to my vibes.

It's getting better for me. The first half killed me right away and then the second half (at first) sounded as if they were using the doom to shuffle mode TOO much. But I do really like this disc a LOT

Yeah that was my early impression but its definitely grown a lot. I like a lot of the old school blues oriented riffs of Iommi on these songs. Definitely goes back to their classics. I still think Ozzy vocals are not all that fantastic but the albums fine now.

So 43 after the release of this LP the place has changed a bit, but it's still there. I was lucky enough to be on the angle the picture was taken, it is now a private area.

I've never ripped vinyl. I'm a bit wary of ripping to a laptop. If I get it wrong, any power would damage the laptop. I would have to connect the turntable phono plugs to jack plugs for the sockets on the laptop.

I have thought of ripping CDs to WAV files rather than mp3s for my portable player.

Rip them to FLAC instead, and use EAC it's the best and free as well. I haven't ripped any vinyl yet myself, but my external sound card is designed with 4 RCA input/output jacks to make it easy. You need some software to do a proper job though, otherwise the results might not be very good.
