I ventured into the dark to search for a torch.
And it would light the path ahead.
Over mountains so high, far and wide.
Searching for a place to rest my head.
On different roads I travel, but I remain the same.
Facing fear with no fear on my face.
Through all the roads I traveled, I remained the same.
Facing my fear.
There's something immediate and breathtaking about 'Custard Pie' which opens Zeppelin's 'Physical Graffit' that makes you aware that you are probably in for quite a journey, and the quality never lets up for all 15 tracks, just totally kick-ass!!
My two personal favorites are "Death on Two Legs" from A Night at the Opera and "Baba O'Riley" from Who's Next. For the former, that piano lets you know what you're in for. For the latter...c'mon, who DOESN'T know that synth intro?
