"with a kiss, I pass the key"

it sounds a little dated these days, a little heavy on the treble maybe. A little this, a little that. Old favorites do that sometimes. The best thing is, sometimes they are still your favorites despite all that.
I think this thing is a masterpiece to the extent that rock albums can be masterpieces.
anybody who cares probably knows her story. as a teenager she got her demo tape to David Gilmore and it knocked him out. He produced her album and the first single knocked the UK out. so, album by album she got more confident and listened less to people telling her what she needed to do. Somewhere down the line she did this. they say she was impressed with how Peter Gabriel was using his drum machines to write songs and she wanted to try her hand at it. The press HATED it. I think it's a classic. Weird, Romantic Pop/Rock for people who like to read.

Probably my favorite Iron Maiden album of all time...and I have to say Thriller would be 2nd.
