ATOMIC ROSTER?. Yeah i love 'em especially the last couple of albums with Chris Farlow on vocals and the more funky sound they got into.

Steve Bolton who was on guitar when Peter French & Chris Farlow was in the band later on turned up playing in the WHO's on the road band in the 1990s i believe?.

Shame about Vincent Crane (founder member/Hammond organ/band leader) who killed himself on Feb 14th 1989. Unfortunately Vincent had on/off mental health problems for many years.

Unfortunately Vince is one of though 1970s/80s rock musician's that have been ''airbrushed out'' of rock history nowadays.

    Rock & Roll...

Mr Crane was one of the greatest IMO, I got into AR years ago and have anjoyed their music for years, shame he died, well before his time. There are not too many bands like this anymore...

One of the very first 45 rpm vinyl single records that i ever bought was ATOMIC ROOSTER'S-DEVIL'S ANSWER and THE WHO'S-WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN both in 1971.

DEVIL'S ANSWER got a lot of radio airplay on BBC radio ONE back then.
