Widely regarded as one of worlds very best female guitar-players, Ana’s career has been meteoric and shows no signs of slowing down! The 5x Blues Music Awards nominee blends smoking electric funk slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals and tight blues groove with soulful feminine vocals.

As far as female guitarists goes, Ana is up there among my absolute favourites. Her music, as well as her guitar playing, has evolved over the years, from blues to a mix of blues, jazz, sould and funk.

Discography:

With Hush:
Hometown (1998)

Can You Stand The Heat (2013)
Blue Room (2015)
Trilogy (2016)

A new one for me......

She seems to be in the vein of SRV & KWS....and very similar to Samantha Fish....gritty boogie blues. I like!

Which album to begin with?

Oh you like Samantha Fish? That's great. I'm always pleasantly surprised when someone mentions her. I'm a big fan of hers.

As for an album to start with, I don't think she has one album which overshadows everything else, they are all solid, so I'd probably start with her first solo album and take it from there.
