I am not a huge fan of the original, it is way to bland compared to some of the covers, but I am hoping you guys will give some good feedback on some covers!

Jimi Hendrix's cover of it is one of my all time favorite songs. I do like the version by Dylan also though.

I saw Dylan in 2004 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and was blown away when he finished his set with "All Along the Watchtower" .. I loved it.

No other cover comes close.

I like the way they jazzed it up, but I like the Hendrix version better.

XTC reminds me of Talking Heads a bit. Never heard that cover, but I have to admit, they made it their own.

ive only heard the original and hendrix version, i cant really pick which one i like the best though they are both amazing

I think this cover has a great sound to it... But I still prefer the hendrix version or the original.
