Aerosmith - Rocks VS Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak?

Which album is your pick between these two albums from 1976?
I like both, but I will go with Jailbreak.

Ummm......close decision because Jailbreak is my favorite Thin Lizzy album and I'm a HUGE Aerosmith fan.

I'm gonna compare the two most commercial,hits off both albums.....Boys are Back in Town and Back in the Saddle.......gotta go with Aero on this one.

Now I'm gonna compare the two heaviest songs......Jailbreak and Combination. This is a toughie to pick between, but I'm gonna go with Aero again....but only by a hair!!

Overall, I just think Rocks is a more solid album.

Early Aerosmith is hard too beat.

BTW, Emerald is by far the heaviest song on Jailbreak , IMO.

Ya think? It's pretty close but I still think Jailbreak is heavier, well maybe darker is a better word.

I like it but Jailbreak is a tad overrated for me. Rocks is a vastly superior album on every front.

Well, music is subjective of course but IMO Emerald is also darker as it is a song about an army massacring entire towns looking a relic / emerald.

Gonna go against the grain here. For me, Jailbreak is the superior album.
