Some of you might want to sit down for this....

I've never listened to an entire album by The Rolling Stones, Beatles, or Zeppelin.

Various recent threads have reminded me of classic, highly rated, cult or well-known albums that I have never heard. These are:

- Throwing Copper by Live

- The Tim Owens albums by Judus Priest

There are others:

- Any Sven Galli album

- I don't think I've heard the Mad Season album

Are there any such albums you have not heard?

Every single one of the above and many more. Not proud of it but if their initial output doesn't really do it for me I don't tend to sit through too much more. That said, there have been many times I've found bands that have so much more interesting stuff than their popular songs. Sometimes the popular tunes are the worst on the album so it pays to check out groups that people with similar taste to mine go on about. There usually is at least something there than makes me want to listen again.

Besides a few rap albums and the albums mentioned above I've listened to the first 200 on this list
https://rateyourmusic.com/charts/top/album/all-time
I see most people here can get thru the top 20 :heheh:
I've listened to the top 58

I was skimming through that list. Whose list is that?

I made it all the way to #15, Doolittle by the Pixies. I do not like the Pixies. Other than that, I make it all the way to Charles Mingus......dunno who that is.

To be honest, I like the Rolling Stone list better ;)

I've never listened to any Jethro Tull, Genesis, Yes or King Crimson albums.

There's definitely songs I like of theirs but never listened to an entire album.

If you like Floyd I have a strong feeling you'd like at least the first two Crimson albums.
