Following are the nominations in the four General Field categories:

Record Of The Year:
"F*** You," Cee Lo Green

Song Of The Year:

"F*** You," Cee Lo Green, Philip Lawrence & Bruno Mars, songwriters (Cee Lo Green)

I don't even want to try to explain why a song called "**** You" would be EVER SO CHARMING enough to actually be considered for any type of award, ever. Man, mass media is going down the shithole. Badly.

Hold up, I think **** you is a great song and probably is one of the best songs to break the pop market this year. Cee Lo through his work with Gnarlz Barkley and now his solo stuff has really brought a new brand of soul music into the mainstream, I think his album will probably be remembered as a great.

Infact most of the nomanies up there are the few pop artists I really respect. Gaga and Perry are brilliant performers. Eminnem, Cee Lo and Alicia are all dynamic musicians who mix immense skill with pop sensibility. Even if you don't enjoy their music they have achieved a hihg level of success for an extended period which in itself is enough to justify respect for them.

That's a great list, that one. Out of them, I'd like "Run Back To Your Side" to win, that whole new Clapton album is pretty cool :grinthumb

Interesting choice to put "Crossroads" in there by John Mayer, it's a cool cover, but it wouldn't be the song from that album that I'd nominate for a Grammy.

Helter Skelter still getting nomination :heheh:
