Venom cover looks beastly. Love that. Only hope the album will be as good. Lots of people hated Fallen Angels and I don't get why because it was a good album.

I read a remark from Cronos years back where he said a lot of old Venom fans were complaining about the Improved production. They were saying it took away from the gritty underground sound. Cronos replyed that if they loved the sound of cheap shitty productions so much they should stick their heads underwater when they listen to the newer Venom releases. :heheh: Awesome comeback ...

As far as the upcoming Venom album is concerned if its anywhere near as good as Fallen Angels I'll be happy.

Ah yes the really old argument about how good production ruins music. lol They're as annoying as black metal fans.

Marduk - Frontschwein is a pretty solid black metal album. Not sure if concept album but seems military related in lyrical content I guess. Good album to come out early in 2015.

Dig the new VENOM... I'm weird I guess but the improved productions make me like Venom more not less lol

Looking forward to new High On Fire ....really excited about it ...probably as much so as for the release of new Enslaved & Manilla Road.

Atheist Preparing To Record New Album - Blabbermouth.net

'm really jacked about this years so far : Satan's Host, the new Venom, Manilla Road just leaked ( so I'm told I wouldn't know about those things haha ) Enslaved ....
Thulcandra , High On Fire, Kamelot, Wretch ( the remains of The Gates of Slumber ), Melechesh, Absu all have already released or have soon to be released albums in the works and I just discovered that Atheist are also planning to have some material out soon .....hell yeah \m/

Oh yeah, and Marduk... I already have it but keep forgetting to listen to it :bonk:

Oh and a couple of non-metal related releases I'm anticipating: CHELSEA WOLFE - Abyss, & the new so far untitled ( as far as I know ) HANK III album.

I'm not completely up to date with the upcoming schedule for metal releases, so I might be forgetting something, but I'm currently most excited about Negură Bunget, The Gentle Storm (Arjen Lucassen + Anneke van Giersbergen), Sirenia, Enslaved, Unleashed and The Agonist. Of course I'm also curious about Nightwish with Floor.

In addition, a bit further down the road: Riverside, Slayer and Paradise Lost.

Slayer I'll listen to but not with any hope without Hanneman. They are dead in my book.

Sirenia, Enslaved, The Agonist though I have high hopes for. Deicide also since their last two albums are among their best. Oh also Kamelot.

Kindda feel the same way. Felt more strongly about it after Hanneman had passed and the band decided to continue, but I can't deny that I'm curious to hear the new album.

Oh yes, interested in the new Kamelot as well.
