Does the CD cover differ from the vinyl anyway?

They may tour again Bruce. I read somewhere that Burke Shelley has reformed the band, but I am not sure who is playing guitar.

= = = =

I just checked the official site and a new album is anticipated too:

Budgie Welsh Rockers Web Site

I see If Swallowed has two bonus tracks.

They might tour in your part of the world Martin, but I don't think they will do a cross Canada marathon...most likely Sweaty will catch them and have a pint or two and a few laughs.:heheh:

I'll throw in some love to 'In For The Kill' album. This album is so metal, the power chords and the basslines are so killer they will surely please every metalhead as well as stoner doom fanatics.

Been into this band since the mid 70s.
Never Turn Your Back On A Friend (1973) and Bandolier (1975) take turns being my favorite.
Squawk (1972) is also on my list but, to be honest I can't remember too much about it at the moment. It made my list for some reason so I'll have to dig it out and put it on the turntable.

their earlier albums always had a few good tunes on them. however every song on bandolier is great, especially napolean bonapart 1 and 2. part 2 is simply relentless.

i can see how the singing could put some off, i'm like that with rush.

Finally something is happening with 80s albums. Can't wait when they get into Deliver Us From Evil. This needs a bit of improvement.

I am pleased they are re-releasing them and the band are doing it so it will be much better, expensive at the moment, they don't seem to drop in price:(
