Eeh. The price was always the issue with them. Don't really know what Burke is trying to achieve this way.

In the early 80's we had a popular metal radio show. N.W.O.B.H.M bands got played a lot. On one of the shows they played some tracks of Power Supply. I kinda lost them after their 70's releases. The 80's albums are good but not as special as the 70 releases.
Still: another good song from their Power Supply album - Hellbender!!

Re-couping the loss made on having them re-mixed and mastered as well as packaged I suspect.

I remember seeing a few of their albums and wanting to get them, but just never got 'round to it. A shame because they really are good.

I don't know if they inspired Iron Maiden, but the only (actual) vinyl single I have has this on the B-side:
