Re: Jethro Tull
Ian Anderson and his band were featured in a live webcast last week. Of interest to Tull fans is the fact that two new compositions were featured.
"Adrift & Dumbfounded" is in the true Jethro Tull mould and is, imo, a classic Ian Anderson song while the instrumental "Clint (That Bloody Song)" is an adventurous tune highlighting his and the bands playing.
The full concert was:
Life Is A Long Song
Up to me
Nursie
In the grip of stronger stuff
Set aside
Hare In The Wine Cup
Wondering again
Andantino
Adrift and dumbfounded
The hare who lost his spectacles
Bach's prelude in C Major
Bourée
Clint (That bloody song)
Thick as a brick
Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor
A Change Of Horses
Budapest
Aqualung
Locomotive Breath
Ian Anderson, Florian Opahle, John O'Hara, David Goodier and Scott Hammond.
Ian Anderson's reading of "The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles" is also one of the more unusual pieces performed. One would hope that more from A Passion Play may now be performed next year?
