The Hunt formed from the remnants of another Canadian hard/prog. band Dillinger. The Hunt released three albums. They were bigger in Texas than in Canada. Thier first release is only recommended as thier next two releases were geared to more of AOR/arena rock sound.

Great Canadian guitarist Walter Rossi's band from 1972. Blazing hard rock. Rossi went on to solo career releasing six LP's. His self-titled debut(1976) and Six Strings, Nine Lives(1978) are excellent guitar driven rock.
