This one really lulled me into a trance, typical of me with David Gilmour's vocals. The lyrics seem to lament the loss of youth and the unending desire to go back again. 8/10

I always felt like this song was ahead of its time. It encapsulates a lot of future sounds. Love the somewhat hysterical vocals, he's into it, and the premise of the song makes you think of certain people. The music is notably catchy. 8.5/10

Great track from their best album (imo), and one of the best reggae albums ever, at that. Bitter lyrics with a deeper meaning. 8/10

Good people, why are some of you so opposed to responding to certain people, or is it certain songs? If you're afraid to offend someone because you rated something they posted a low score... Well, don't be! That's part of music, it's all subjective.

Please, I'm not trying to be rude, but it really is dull when you all leave these threads blank, especially when you're logging in and looking at them still. If it's because you don't like the song, it's better to say, "WOW MOJO I HATE THAT POS DUMPSTER FIRE YOU POSTED. I'D RATHER LISTEN TO NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD. NOT FOR ME. -1/10" than silence.

I'm sorry if I am coming off as rude. I just don't understand.

Yeah, I think a few people are worried they're going to offend the other person. Or maybe they've run out of songs to post. I have two lists, one I keep for the rock forum and one for the other genres. For some reason, the latter is twice as long as the rock forum. It's hard to find good songs that others haven't yet heard or that I haven't yet posted.

Good to know though that you're not offended by others' ratings.

Thanks so much for the response, Aero. That definitely makes sense. I too probably post songs that people have rated before and don't want to again, or have heard a million times... so there's that. I'll try to find some more 'obscure' things to post. I'm glad my response didn't come off as rude, and not offended at all. If you tell me the song I posted sounds like ****, I will understand completely.

Another man's trash is another man's treasure, vice versa

There are those types of die-hard fans of music that will persecute you if you say the wrong thing about their favorites and whatnot, so I can understand. I've ran into some crazy aggressive people on web forums. Those KISS army types are feral.

Will say you have posted at least a few songs I haven't heard that are pretty brilliant, and even if I have, I don't mind hearing them again when they're good if it's been long enough. (I will give someone else a chance to respond to your song above. That's a reason why I don't post myself, I try not to hog the thread)

I've posted some right stinkers.... But!.... many of you have introduced me to great songs and bands on these threads... I think there's 3 of them.... I'm a little hesitant on the language and metal area... because my knowledge is so small. The Different thread I really like.
