Re: Judas Priest

I just love Priest, saw them a few times, I love Painkiller it is just awesome, it is amazing how many people like them and are not afraid to admit it, they are one hell of a band and are still rocking.

I am sure there are a few out there, once they see you in a Priest shirt they start talking about the classic years and all that.

Re: Judas Priest

I've never been afraid to admit that I love Judas Priest. I say it loud, I say it proud. And I'm not JUST saying this because we are in a JP thread on a music forum on the net. When friends of mine growing out "outgrew" Judas Priest and a few other bands, they knew full well that they would still be hearing it in my car or in my home if there was music playing. Both of my kids like JP (son much more so than my daughter, but she knows the radio hits).

Anyway, getting back to JP, without ANY doubt in my mind, they are one of the 3 most important bands in heavy metal, the other two being Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. And two of Iron Maiden's biggest influences... ? Black Sabbath and Judas Priest.

'nuff said. Play it loud, play it proud!!!!

Re: Judas Priest

I've rented that DVD a couple of times. Good stuff. It's too bad it was made during the time when Rob wasn't in the group. Still some cool info and footage in it.

:)
