10? - COOL!

These are my favorite drummers of all time, who always brought me great joy. I always loved the playing styles of...

Keith Moon - The Who
John Bonham - Led Zeppelin
Carl Palmer - Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Ginger Baker - Cream
Bill Kreutzmann - Grateful Dead
Bill Ward - Black Sabbath
Don Brewer - Grand Funk/Bob Seger
Peter Criss - Kiss
Charlie Watts - Rolling Stones
Ringo Starr - The Beatles

All, in no particular order and I could of named about another 5 drummers, with out thinking about it.

Top 3:

Buddy Rich
Neil Peart
Mike Portnoy

Everyone else is second class (at best) compared to these guys. Lots of good drummers, lots of simply serviceable drummers. Also quite a few overrated guys that were simply in big bands or just in the right place at the right time.
