:bow:Free formed in 1968 Andy Fraser, Simon Kirke, Paul Kossoff and Paul Rodgers these were a legendary outfit. The Voice and the big vibrato guitar. They went on to become one of the biggest blues/rock attractions of their day. Alexis Korner introduced a 15 year old Andy Fraser to the band and even gave them their name. One of the coolest bands ever.

Love Free!

I highly recommend Free's remastered CD's with bonus tracks, especially the first two albums, Tons of Sobs (1968) and Free (1969) to really get a deeper listen to this great hard rock band.

I agree, they should've been at least as big as Zeppelin. Too bad Kossoff couldn't quite cope.

I've got all of their albums + a VHS compilation with the live footage from Isle of Wight. Mr. Big is stellar from that show.
